In Kendal town centre, the Riverside Hotel is a 17th-century building with a state-of-the-art leisure club. Rooms have river views, and Windermere and the Yorkshire Dales are 15 minutes' drive away. Most of the rooms have views of the River Kent. Features include satellite TV, tea and coffee, a private bathroom and free Wi-Fi. Free parking is also provided. The Riverview Restaurant uses local produce, some of which comes from the hotel?s own Victorian kitchen garden. The leisure club includes a heated swimming pool, sauna, steam room, hot tub, gym and exercise studio. Kendal Railway Station is 250 metres away, and guests are 10 minutes? drive from the M6 motorway. Unfortunately our pool and leisure club are closed for refurbishment from 3rd November 2024, with our aim to reopen by February 2025, Whilst we do understand this is not ideal timing for everyone, we feel this is the perfect opportunity to upgrade the facilities. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.
